At first I thought this book was going to be a copy of other children's stories (a house at the edge of a forest full of magical creatures that no one knows about), but once I got into the book it was original. The story was fun and well paced, and the characters were likable.

Against their aunts wishes, Samuel and Martha enter the forest and immediately run into danger. Martha becomes a prisoner of the Changemaker and it is up to Samuel to save her.
