This book is fairly simple but it was enjoyable and appropriate for readers of all ages.

Thorn has been kept secret from the invader king Ranulf for the last twelve years. His teacher believes him to be the prince mentioned in a prophecy who is destined to free the kingdom. Thorn must embark on a perilous journey to learn the truth about himself and his destiny.
